The turbocharged engines have great potential for tuning, especially, when the manufacturers have to comply with regulations and to meet the expectations of the customers for low fuel consumption.

Swiss tuner Sportec now offers new engine upgrade packages for the 2.0 TFSI engines of VAG.

The top-of-range models - VW Golf R, VW Scirocco R and the Audi S3 can be boosted up to 323PS (238kW) and 474 Nm, which is a significant improvement from the previous packages 300 PS (221 kW) and 410 Nm. However, the standard power of 2.0 TFSI in Golf and Scirocco R is 270 PS (199 kW) and 350 Nm and in the Audi S3, it is 265 PS and 350Nm.

The GTI versions of the Volkswagen cars with 2.0TFSI can also benefit from the performance packages of Sportec. The standard 211PS and 280Nm engine can be boosted up to 252 PS (185 kW) and 404 Nm.

The performance upgrades can be fitted on both DSG and -speed manual models.
