Car enthusiasts and Ferrari collectors from across the globe descended on Maranello, Italy this past weekend for RM Auctions’ second annual “Ferrari Leggenda e Passione” event.
On Sunday May 18th, RM Auctions, in association with Sotheby’s, put under the hammer an unrivalled collection of historic Ferraris and Maseratis at the legendary home of the Prancing Horse.

The first official photographs have been published of the Ferrari California, the latest addition to the new generation of Ferraris launched in 2004 with the 612 Scaglietti and added to more recently with the 430 Scuderia.
The Ferrari California joins the Prancing Horse's 8-cylinder family which has always been defined by power and performance. It also flanks the flagship 612 Scaglietti in the prestige sporty Grand Tourer segment.

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is the perfect vehicle in the Maranello sports car stable for the gentleman driver. The Gran Turismo is already a very noble means of travel as standard equipment, however particularly optically it can still stand some flashier details. The marathon relay celebrating Ferrari's 60th anniversary started this morning from the Italian Embassy in Abu Dhabi at 10 a.m. local time. The relay will involve over 10,000 Ferrari owners and their cars of all ages. These will act as symbolic "bearers" of a specially commissioned relay baton adorned with 60 badges symbolising the most extraordinary events in the Marque's 60-year history.
