Arriving in three trim levels, Active 1, Active B&O PLAY and Active X, the new Fiesta has a lot to demonstrate. All three levels feature distinctive looks and tons of handy features. For example, all three models feature tree driving modes, EPS with Hill Start Assist and many more. So, let’s check’em out, shall we?
First of all, new Fiesta comes with tons of utility goodies: lane-keeping technology, rear seat belt minder, rear central headrest, auto headlamps, heated windscreen, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, rear privacy glass and many more. Also, buyers will benefit from the SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
However, the higher trim levels also offer some exclusive additions. For example, Active B&O PLAY features visual changes as black roof with black roof rails, premium audio system with 10 speakers and 360-degree audio technology. Neat. Furthermore, the model features yellow color theme, cruise control, rain – sensing wipers, auto-dimming rear view mirror, central console armrest and more.
And the top model trim level, the Active X comes with further refinement and even luxurious features. Buyers will be benefitting from heated front seats, power-foldable door mirrors with puddle lights, Ford SYNC 3 Navigation System, DAB Radio, large touch screen and more.
Ford team have decided to rely on the award-winning 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol engine. It would be offered with four different outputs: 85hp, 100hp, 125hp and the most powerful – 140hp. These units are paired to a new six-speed manual gearbox that contributes to delivering 105g/km CO2 emissions. Further drivetrain system features include high-pressure direct fuel injection, twin-independent variable cam timing and new crankshaft design for refined three-cylinder system workflow.
