Kia has just revealed its "next big step" in the company's design revolution with the first official sketches of the 2012 Kia Rio, which premiere is scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show 2011. Showcasing exclusively masculine and bold design, the next-generation Kia Rio will be longer, wider and lower than the current model.

Kia says that the new-generation Rio is aimed at injecting more emotional styling into the famous B-segment, targeting progressive and dynamic buyers who demand staggering vision. Its fresh dress boasts swept-back profile and a flowing line coming from the front wheel, which gives the Rio an extraordinary sense of movement and fluidity, even when not moving.

Soon-Nam Lee, Director of Overseas Marketing, Kia Motors Corporation shares:  "Downsizing is becoming more and more of a trend these days and a B-segment car as attractive as all-new Rio, with its driver-oriented cabin and interior trim options, will no doubt help consumers to be more comfortable making that switch.  New Rio is the ‘next big step' in Kia's design revolution and we anticipate this model becoming even more popular than the current vehicle."
