Audi A8 Edition 21 Comes With Style And Exclusivity

Audi A8 was released two decades ago and now Audi brand celebrates the successful and well-known saloon model with a special vehicle, named Edition 21. Taking everything nice from all the lineup features and adding some interesting solutions, Audi A8 Edition 21 will be available as a standard lineup and a special Limited series with only 121 units. In fact, the Audi A8 Edition21 can already be purchased.

The vehicle will offer bold interior and exterior styling, but will also keep some of the classic A8 features alive. For example, Edition 21 offers the standard wheelbase for all A8 models, but comes with restyled front and rear bumpers as well redesigned side sills. The Edition 12 will also offer Adaptive Audi Matrix LED headlights and special LED rear lights with dynamic indicators.

Furthermore, new to this models are the 20-inch double spoke alloy wheels and the extended list of exterior color options. In fact, the vehicle can now be painted with grey pearl effects shade. Privacy glass from the B-pillar is also included in the standard equipment.

Exterior and Interior

When it comes to interior styling, Audi A8 Edition 21 offers some refined atmosphere with its special design and extensive pack variations. The standard trim comes with two optional color schemes: Cognac Brown with black contrasting stitching and Black Leather with red contrasting stitching.  Furthermore, the vehicle is geared with special sporty seats, that can be fine-adjusted with the special system, that offers 22-way of tweaking the seats. How cool is that? Edition 21 will also come with a special black cloth three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, illuminated door sill plates and numerous more goodies.

And as a self-respected brand, Audi also incorporated numerous gadgets and high-tech system, so Edition 21 meets the requirements of people from 21st century. The car offers HDD-based satellite navigation, BOSE surround audio system and of course Audi Connect portfolio of smart phone and internet-based services. And some of the models include reversing camera and power-operated boot lid with hands-free opening and powered door closure. Sweet.

Drivetrain System

Audi A8 Edition 21 is geared with EU-6-compliant 3.0-liter V6 TDI unit, that produces a total of 263 hp (193 kW) and 580Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2, 500 rpm. All this paired to an 8-speed triptronic transmission, linked to quattro permanent all-wheel drive. Edition 21 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) for 6.2 seconds and chases the top speed of 279 km/h (155 mph).
