Customers Tailoring Their 2016 Chevrolet Camaro for the First Time [Pricing Revealed]
2016 Chevrolet Camaro or the so called Gen Six Camaro has been revealed in May. By the end of June, the American company has also displayed its convertible variant. Offering enhanced performance and a lot of technology innovations, the new generation muscle icon now also offers individual customization choices to its customers. In addition to this, Chevy also revealed the pricing of the car.
What we know already is that the new Camaro is lighter, more powerful and more advanced than its previous generation. To make customer's choice easier, Chevrolet revealed more details to help them tailor their Gen Six exactly how they want it. This happens for the first time and also includes pricing information and an online visualizer.

The suggested retail price of the Camaro 1LT for example is $26,695 USD. And if you opt for the most powerful Camaro 1SS, its pricing begins at $37,295 USD.
Models, Trim Levels & Features
If you are keen on personalizing things, then you would definitely like the new accessories visualizer. It will allow you to view many custom features on the 2016 Camaro like the interior and exterior colors, wheels, stripes, and various accessory options.
Of course, you have to decide first whether you want your Camaro in a coupe or a convertible form. The next step is to chose between the only two models in the model lineup: LT or SS; and eventually you have to make the choose one of four trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS.

A Special RS Package
If you always strive for more, then you should also know that the LT models can get the available RS package. It will give you the luxury of 20-inch aluminum wheels, High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps with LED signature lamps, LED taillamps, RS-specific grille inserts and a rear spoiler.
More Goodies for Camaro 1SS
Even more comes with the Camaro 1SS, which steps over the 1LT with the RS package, and adds unique front and rear fascias, specific grilles, a vented hood, and one-off rear spoiler. Moreover, Chevrolet ensured that this specification features enhanced performance like the cooling systems for the differential, transmission and engine oil, the Brembo brakes with four-piston front and rear calipers, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 run-flat tires, Active Rev Matching and the limited slip differential that go for the manual transmission models only, and the Configurable Driver Information Center.
The Top 2SS
Furthermore, the upper level 2SS models adds leather heated and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, interior spectrum lighting, heated steering wheel, head-up display, Bose premium audio, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert.
Visualizer
If you are wondering what the Camaro Visualizer is, it is an online portal that enables users to browse view how many of the options and accessories will look when installed on the car. Here you can chose among 10 exterior colors, five interior colors and wide range of accessories options. Some of the accessory highlights include three aluminum wheel designs in multiple finishes, grille kits with six body-color inserts for LT and SS models, blade-style rear spoiler and a ground effects kit, four exterior graphics packages, interior trim kits, offered in multiple colors and many more.
