Jeep Cherokee Overland goes overseas to spoil Europeans
Overland goes overseas. It might sound strange as an expression, but it is the current trend in Jeep's strategy to expand into the European market. Precisely, this is the name of the new luxury variant of Jeep Cherokee, which is based on the popular model from the 2016 model year. Overland is just another luxury variant of the Cherokee, which will respond to the demands of the soiled and capricious clients.
Besides the standard equipment, here we have the addition of polished bright front grille, HID bi-xenon headlamps and body-colored door cladding. The style is a little bit changed by the new front and rear bumpers and what seem to be wider wheel arches. They are filled with huge 18-inch polished bright alloys.

If you are looking for variety in exterior colors, if four is enough for you then you'll get it. Here are included Deep Cherry Red, Bright White, Brilliant Black and Billet Silver.
On the inside extras continue with the Nappa leather seats, which will humour the driver and front passenger with a heating function, four-way lumbar adjustment and memory for the position of driver's seat. Other goodies include mirrors, steering wheel with wood insert, anodized silver bezels and vent surrounds, and Berber floor mats.
Unlike the abundant four exterior colors, the trim choices for the interior are only two, namely: Morocco Black Nappa or Pearl coloured Nappa leather. Oh, and we forgot to mention that the occupants will have the pleasure of enjoying the powerful Alpine Premium sound system, Uconnect radio with 8.4-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth and GPS navigation as well as stylish panoramic sunroof.
There are no surprises regarding the engine, meaning that it stays the Active Drive I or Active Drive II 4WD 2.2-litre MultiJet II 200 horsepower turbo diesel unit, which is connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
