2016 Cadillac CTS-V is the most potent Cadillac vehicle ever produced! It has the capability of generating the breath-taking 640 horsepower (477 kW) and 630 lb-ft of torque (855 Nm). The top speed is positioned at 200 mph. With more horsepower and torque, the new CTS-V is capable of 0-60 performance in 3.7 seconds. The third generation luxury sports sedan also features comprehensive updates in terms of technology which improve its track behavior. Some of them include standard carbon fiber hood and vent, front splitter, rear spoiler and rear diffuser.

The car can also show-off with high-performance Brembo brake system, third-gen Magnetic Ride Control, integrated chassis controls, Performance Traction Management and driver selectable modes. It also introduces a new supercharged 6.2L V-8 engine linked to paddle-shift eight-speed automatic transmission, featuring launch control and Performance Algorithm Shifting.

Advanced safety and parking technologies also play crucial role.

These include a front curb-view camera system, automatic parking assist, side blind zone alert, forward collision alert, lane keep assist and rear cross traffic alert. Additionally, the Performance Data Recorder allows drivers to record high-definition video, with data overlays, of their driving experiences on and off the track. CTS-V is built over the 114.6-inch (2,910 mm) wheelbase, and it features wide front and rear footprints. This comes to enhance grip, reduce body motion and contribute to more direct-feeling steering. The freshly unveiled car runs on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that were specifically created for it.

They were mated with lightweight, forged aluminum wheels: 9.5 inches wide in the front and 10 inches wide in the rear. Behind the wheels we see Brembo brake system, which includes includes two-piece 15.3-inch-diameter (390 mm) front rotors with staggered six-piston calipers and 14.3-inch-diamter (365 mm) rear rotors with four-piston calipers.

As a matter of fact, almost every exterior panel on the CTS-V is unique. Take as an instance the lightweight carbon fiber hood which features an air-extracting vent; or the front and rear fascias that deliver optimal aero performance and feature larger grille openings.

For those who want even more individuality, Cadillac has prepared optionl Carbon Fiber package. It takes aero performance and mass optimization to higher levels. The package comprises of a more aggressive front splitter, hood vent, rear diffuser and spoiler.

Inside, the cabin is performance-focused. The steering wheel, seats, shifter and pedals are designed to make the driving experiences direct and intuitive. 2016 CTS-V is equipped with heated and ventilated front seats trimmed in semi-aniline leather, featuring sueded microfiber inserts and seatbacks.

As an option, the company is offering RECARO performance front seats. Additional features for the interior include elements with decorative stitching and authentic materials such as available sueded steering wheel and shift knob.

The "insides" of the model are offered in three color combinations: Jet Black, Jet Black with Light Platinum accents and Saffron with Jet Black accents. Inside, we can also see 12.3-inch instrument panel cluster display with V-Series graphics and distinctive gauge readout. Oh, take a look at the full-color, reconfigurable head-up display, which is equipped with the latest connectivity technologies like the OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.

No information on pricing or market release date was disclosed, but the car is expected to have a price tag around $80 000 USD.
