The new revised version of GT-R will be released on December 7th at Nissan dealers nationwide in Japan, and it will hit the global markets in the beginning of next spring. Nissan improved the navigation system, suspension settings and flow catalyst system of GT-R.

Since Nissan GT-R was launched in December 2007, the car won more than 50 awards in various categories and got a huge general approval by the owners. Nissan also supports GT-R customers with good after-sales service.

The new spec of GT-R include a new HDD-based CARWINGS navigation system with better entertainment functions and a USB port with iPod connectivity.

The other main improvement is the GT-R's suspension, which has been retuned to offer enhanced, premium quality ride comfort, while still providing the driver with a feeling of direct contact with the road surface. The accuracy of the front shock absorbers and springs has been increased and the stiffness of rear suspension radius rod bushings has been strengthened.

Now the rear diffusers with cooling ducts are available for non-SpecV models to improve the cooling performance around the rear floor area.

The most exclusive version of Nissan GT-R - the SpecV models now receive revised rear shock absorber settings, enhancing the characteristic combination of supple ride comfort and flat, predictable handling. The SpecV model now comes standard with Dunlop tires. The previously standard Bridgestone tires are available as a factory-installed option.

The final upgrade is newly adopted hexagonal meshed catalyst cells that reduce ventilation/airflow resistance, which is available for both GT-R and GT-R SpecV to improve the engine response.
