2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco Hyundai Motor America announced details for the all-new 2017 Elantra Eco model. With a starting price of $20, 650 USD, the latest Hyundai family member is expected to become the most efficient Elantra so far with EPA estimated 40mpg on the highway and 35mpg in combined cycle.

2017 Elantra Eco and its features

Proudly presenting new LED daytime running lights and bold hexagonal grille design, the sweetie is definitely an eye-catcher. The inside features seven-inch Display Audio touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In terms of utility and safety, Hyundai team geared the Elantra with Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-traffic Alert and Lane Change Assist, proximity key with push-button start, heated front seats, dual automatic climate control, leather wrapped shift knob and steering wheel with audio.

Drivetrain system

In terms of performance and components, the 2017 Elantra Eco will feature a refreshed 1.4-liter Kappa power unit with a total output of 128hp (95kW) and 159 lb-ft of torque at low 1,400-3,700rpm. This unit is mated to a seven-speed EcoShift dual-clutch gearbox for enhanced efficiency and driving smoothness.

Additional equipment

Also part of the standard features are the LED daytime running lights, 3.5-inch TFT monochromatic cluster display, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, sunvisor extensions, auto-up driver window, sliding armrest, front passenger seatback pocket and more.
