Alfa Romeo has revealed full details about the upcoming 2014 4C, which is set to make its market debut in October, this year. The small sports car packs unique styling and sensational performance.

It is powered by a 1.8 liter turbocharged petrol with 240HP (177 kW) and 350Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to a dual-clutch transmission. 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 258 km/h (160 mph). It will average 6.8 liters / 100 km (41.5 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 157 g/km. All these figures are thanks to the super-low weight of 4C – just 895kg (1973 lb).

The entry-level Essential trim level comes with a digital instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and fabric seats. There are also grey brake calipers, a dual exhaust system and 17" and 18" alloy wheels.

The Racing Pack adds a sport steering wheel (with leather and microfiber inserts), a sportier exhaust system and a race-tuned suspension. The package also includes 18" and 19" wheels with AR Racing tires.

The Luxury Pack indludes leather and microfiber sports seats and Bi-LED headlights with carbon fiber surrounds.

Alfa Romeo 4C will be limited to just 3,500 units (per year).
