Here is an interesting test made by Top Gear. You can watch the latest BMW M3 E92 against Audi RS5. Both are sport coupes suitable for everyday drive or time attack on race tracks.

BMW M3 E92 is powered by high-revving 4.0 litre V8 with 420PS (309 kW) at 8300RPM and 400m (295 lb-ft) at 3900RPM. The engine is mated either with 6-speed manual or SMG III dual-clutch gearbox. It is astonishingly fast - 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and top speed is 250 km/h (electronically limited) and without the limiter, it will easily top 300 km/h. The price is € 72 900.

On the other hand we have Audi RS5 with its mighty a new 4.2 litre naturally aspirated V8 with 450 PS (331 kW;) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. It is slightly faster than the M3, 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
