The new TT RS has a true racing pedigree just like the legendary 90 Quattro model. The German manufacturer claims that there is a connection between the 5-cylinder Quattro and the hot new TT RS.

Both cars put the power on the road through Quattro AWD and have 5-cylidner turbocharged engine. However, Audi 90 Quattro in its race version had around 600 horsepower, which is almost double than the 360HP in the 2.5-liter of the TT RS.

Also the rally car was just 1 090kg (2403 lbs) meaning a stunning power-to-weight ratio. The performance is incredible. 0 -100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and the top speed depended on the selection of gears. Some of the car had a special power-shift gearbox, which resembles the double-clutch technology.

The TT RS is also very fast to 100 km/h - only 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) – electronically limited.
